Years of passion

A family tradition

We are one of Tuscany’s oldest liqueur producers, founded in Ponsacco in 1921. It all started when Russo, the owner of a small town bar, decided to launch a business crafting liqueurs and spirits in the years between the two World Wars.

Today, that same company is run by the fourth generation. A business born from a family’s passion over a century ago, which continues to grow, rooted in the territory, guided by timeless values, and always open to new horizons.

The Craftsmanship Behind Our Products

The artisan, according to the etymology of the word (from the Latin “ars,” art), is the artist: a person who processes raw materials according to rules that belong to the tradition and material culture of the territory in which they live, who interprets those rules based on their own sensitivity, inspiration, and personal skill, and ultimately achieves a result, the product of their creativity.

This is the philosophy that has always guided us.

Biodiversity, innovation, creativity, and professionalism come together in every bottle. No liqueur or spirit is ever exactly the same, and that’s precisely the beauty of true craftsmanship.
The uniqueness of each product lies in the diversity of botanicals, in the complexity of flavors, and in the master distiller’s personal interpretation of time-honored methods.

Tuscany, Land of Biodiversity

Our company philosophy has always centered around showcasing the exceptional biodiversity of the Tuscan region. Among our standout products are Limoncino, made exclusively from Tuscan lemons, and Arancino, crafted only with oranges grown in Tuscany.

“We want to bring Tuscany back into the spotlight. This land holds an incredible, underutilized heritage that gives us access to truly unique botanicals,” says Michele Guiducci, third-generation distiller.

And for those in the industry, it’s no secret: the world’s finest juniper berries come from Tuscany.
So, naturally, Arcipelago Gin was the next step in our journey
